On Sunday December 15th, Nerja hosts the last in a series on nine races forming the XV Circuito Diputación Provincial de Málaga, a marathon organised by the Club Ciclista Extreme Bike Nerja.
The route will be along roads, tracks and trails and totalling 63 kilometres in length. The race starts from El Playazo beach at 10:00 and anyone wishing to register can do so up until thirty minutes before the start.
The race will not be counting towards the overall standings in the competition. The entry fee is €15 for federated riders and €25 for non-federated. The number of riders is limited to three hundred.
The organisers point out that riders passing the 13.5 kilometre mark later than 12:30 will not be officially timed and, therefore, will not be included in the final classification.
The race will also end at El Playazo beach where the awards ceremony will take place and lunch will be provided for all competitors.
