The Junta de Andalucia is expected to approve a draft decree aimed at streamlining administrative procedures relating to urban planning when municipalities decide to change their General Plan.
The basic idea is to create another intermediate phase by setting up Provincial Committees for Urban Coordination to integrate the issuing of the mandatory reports required by the Junta de Andalucia on questions of urban planning.
This, officials say, will reduce the delays experienced with regard to such urban planning applications.
