Two men who were reported missing on Friday after setting off from Poniente beach in Motril in a small boat have been located and rescued about nine miles off Cabo Sacratif.
The two men set off in a rowing boat on Friday evening on a fishing expedition but failed to return. A search involving half a dozen Maritime Rescue and Guardia Civil vessels and helicopters finally located the men and they were eventually taken to Motril port where they were treated for hypothermia.
