A second investigation has had to be opened after a second man died after being subdued and handcuffed by Mossos d’Esquadra officers, this time in Salou, Tarragona.
The man, who had allegedly stabbed and assaulted one of the officers, lost consciousness after being handcuffed and subsequently died.
The first incident took place in Barcelona earlier in the day.
