Work is due to start next week on the verges of the road down to Maro beach, starting with the right hand side of the stretch between calle San Miguel and calle Nueva.
The Council has already signed a safety plan with the contractor and the project has been drawn up by the municipal Department of Infrastructure. The budget for the works is currently €49,000 and is being financed through a credit from the Málaga provincial Council.
