Guardia Civil officers have located and arrested the former partner of María del Carmen Marín who was found stabbed to death at her home in Berja, Almeria, on Sunday.
The detainee, a 31-year-old Moroccan, was the subject of a restraining order and had been under house arrest, watched by the Local Police, until July 30th for violating that order.
Flags in Berja will today fly at half mast in mourning for María del Carmen Marín, the 32nd domestic violence fatality in Spain so far this year.
