A 27-year-old Moroccan woman is in a critical condition in hospital in Madrid after being shot in the head by her former partner.
There was a restraining order in place against the former partner, also a Moroccan national. The shooting took place in a car park near the La Pocilla Cultural Centre in Galapagar, Madrid.
Police are investigating whether the body of a Moroccan man found dead in his car in El Escorial is that of the former partner and perpetrator of the crime.
