After being first announced in June, the Council has approved a project to improve street lighting at Torrecilla beach, particularly along the promenade.
The project, part of the Plans for Energy Optimisation and funded by the Provincial Council, has a budget of €40,000 and involves replacing the old lighting with more efficient LED lights.
Forty lights are due for replacement and three new ones are going to be added.
