The Sierra Nevada ski station is set to open for the 2014-14 season on Saturday November 29th with a ski area initially focused on the beginners area of Borreguiles.
An extension of this initial area could take place during the day as conditions are assessed. At least three ski lifts will be operational on the first day, these being Al Andalus, Emile Allais and Borreguiles.
There is an initial limit of 500 skiers for the first day although this could be revised upward if conditions improve in the next few hours.
