A British national, Kainth Devinder, has been detained after an argument in a restaurant in Sotogrande ended in the death of a German man.
Davinder was at the luxury Spinnaker restaurant in Sotogrande when he noticed Sandro Rottman, a German national, filming his daughter on a mobile device. Rottman apparently ignored requests to stop filming and Devinder then allegedly punched him in the head.
Rottman was taken to hospital in La Linea de la Concepción but died from his injuries. The victim had reportedly been arrested a few days earlier for possession of child pornography.
