Three young athletes from the Club Nerja de Atletismo-Cueva de Nerja-UMA have qualified to participate in the World Youth Championships which take place from July 15th to 19th in Cali, Colombia.
The athletes, all born in 1998 or 1999, are high jumper Virginia Martín, hammer thrower Blanca Lopez and pole vaulter Isidro Leyva.
Virginia Martín, who has a personal best of 1.75m, was the winner of the National Championships this year both indoor and outdoor.
