José Mariano Centeno has resigned his post as Councillor for the Ciudadanos party, citing personal and professional reasons for the decision.
Centeno is employed as a teacher in Málaga and his duties prevent him from effectively carrying out his role as a Councillor.
His place will be taken by the number three on the Ciudadanos list, María del Carmen López.
