Conference about the new legislation for the exchange of finantial information for residents

Blacktower Financial Management (International) Limited will be giving an informative presentation in English on the 18th of November at 11:00 at the Cultural Centre, calle Granada 45, Nerja.

The presentation will cover:

The new agreements that are in place between many countries and since January 2015 with regards to the exchange of financial information, with a review of the impact this has on you as a Spanish resident.

What residency really means, when you are considered a resident by the Spanish authorities and the importance of listing yourself on the “padrón” of Nerja.

The obligation that residents have to submit the form Modelo 720 to report overseas assets, now in its fourth year. You will find ot what you have to do in case you have not yet submitted this form in the past and what the possible future consequences are of not doing so.

The important changes in Spanish taxes: Income Tax, Savings Tax, Inheritance Tax and the implication for residents and non-residents.

The new Spanish law with regards to Wills, which applies since the 17th of August, and the importance of making sure that your estate ends up in the hands of the beneficiaries of your choice.

There will be drinks and tapas for participants.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
