Nerja tourism were pleased to welcome the British television production company ´Free Form´ who were recording an episode of its popular series “A place in the sun” today. The episode will be broadcast by the UK’s Channel 4 television station.
You may already be familiar with UK´s successful TV programme that helps British buyers to find their dream home abroad. In each programme, the presenter often shows several properties with different characteristics and budgets in some of the most idyllic areas of the area. It usually introduces the viewers to the hospitality of the local neighbours, the nearby facilities and sometimes the climatic benefits of the place where these properties are located.
The Councillor for Nerja, Gema Garcia points out that this is not the first time that this programme has visited Nerja, as this ideal location has been chosen as the setting for its recordings in different seasons. The production company has recorded in other parts of the region, with the coordination of the Axarquia Film Office.
