Quite some rain on Saturday and in drier moments, quite a few cars being towed in preparation for the procession.

The main theory for the slab of temporary concrete in calle El Barrio is that it will be used at some time to house a crane or other piece of equipment equipped with stabilisers in order to prevent damage to the area.

The roadworks in calle Trancos are in full swing, although there wasn’t much activity this morning.

Some pretty hefty pruning going on with the bushes on the slope down to El Playazo/El Chucho beaches and a bit of weeding being carried out in the riverbed.

An area of fresh concrete has appeared in calle El Barrio. It is on plastic sheeting and rubber matting so presumably it will be transported somewhere else. Bit of a strange procedure, though.
Change of hours at Mercadona…
The end of the summer season and the Mercadona in calle San Miguel has reverted to the slightly shorter opening times of 09:00 to 21:30 Monday to Saturday.
Out and About September 14th 2014…
There doesn’t seem to have been many weddings going on recently, but there was one today, and the happy couple were having their photos taken on the Balcón de Europa and on the way down to Calahonda beach.
Digging in Verano Azul…
There is work currently going on in Parque Verano Azul, presumably the construction of the permanent toilet modules etc.
Out and About September 11th 2014…
It started off very calm and quiet this morning, then the wind began to get stronger and the sea became choppy. A cloudless sky except over one mountain. Looked like it was clinging to the hilltop.
Flying low…
This one was flying very low this morning down by El Playazo beach.
