I know opinions are divided on the subject of ‘street artists’, but it does seem a little strange to wander around all day and not see a single busker, juggler, living statue or other itinerant entertainer anywhere on the streets.

The scheduled performance in Plaza los Cangrejos on Sunday night didn’t take place for some reason, no explanations given anywhere.

I must say, there seems to be far fewer purveyors of sunglasses and other assorted items in the past few days, so maybe the clampdown really is going to continue this time.

Yet another sea mist this morning, rather a lot of them this summer. Quite cooling. It has been generally cooler (goosebumps at times) early morning and evening, most unusual for August.

The centre of town was heaving on Saturday after the influx of visitors at the start of the holiday month for the Spanish, but surprisingly deserted on Sunday afternoon.
