Vélez-Málaga Council is spending €200,000 under the Plan Proteja to asphalt a number of roads in the municipality.
Asphalting in Torre del Mar
Asphalting is taking place from today until Friday December 11th on avenida Andalucia and as a result, various diversions are in operation on the N-340 between Torre del Mar and La Caleta. Drivers are advised to take an alternative route (A7 highway) to avoid being delayed.
Asphalting on the A-7 in Benalmádena
Asphalting work has begun on the 7 kilometre stretch of the A-7 between the exits for Fuengirola and Arroyo de la Miel, a road full of bumps and one which has had little attention for the past decade, despite being used by 120,000 vehicles each day.
