A British woman died in the early hours of Monday morning after a fall in a bar which caused her to cut herself on some glass.

The Balcón de Europa was fairly busy yesterday, quite a few tour groups coming to town I would say. This guy, Señor Gawdybeads, took full advantage, spreading out his wares and doing a roaring trade at €1 per set.

Today marks the first anniversary of the tragic death of young Cecilia Coria on the Balcón de Europa, murdered by her ex-boyfriend as she went about her work. Institutional commemorations took place this morning and candles now burn at the place where the terrible event occurred.
