Busy, busy…

Today is the Day of the Tourist with a visit by many of the cast and crew of the original TV series ‘Verano Azul’. There is a concert on the Balcón de Europa tonight with ‘Trío de Coplas’ starting at 21:30. Very busy on the Balcón de Europa yesterday, with the goodies stall being particularly popular!

Balcón closed off…

The Balcón de Europa is all sealed off ready for the ‘Raphael’ concert tonight.

Urban legends, myths, superstitions….it’s always nice to discover some of these little gems. True or not, they add a little ‘something’ to life’s rich pageant. Sunday night stroll…

Classic Cars in Nerja…

You’ll find loads of pictures HERE There were four of the old Ford Capri’s, and one even had the fluffy dice hanging …

And the answer is?…

We now know what the new business is next to the new Verano Azul office on calle Carmen, opposite the side of the church….it’s another ice cream place! That makes four shops plus the two sisters with their carts for the Balcón de Europa, must be getting towards a ‘sufficiency’ now.

Around and about on a warmish day…

Not the hottest day, quite a chill wind at times, but a lot of people milling around town today and a fair number lounging on the beaches. The South Americans were looking rather snazzy with their feathers and colourful costumes. The Balcón de Europa was quite busy, as one would expect, and, as seems to be the case most weekends …
