On Saturday, the Beach Volleyball Tournament 3×3 was held on Burriana beach, with a total of sixty people taking part in the various categories.

Burriana and Torrecilla beaches have once again been awarded the Blue Flag by ADEAC, adding to the three other flags already awarded to these beaches: The Q for Quality, the Quality Tourism flag and the ISO 9001.

On Sunday it was the XVI Across Burriana swimming competition with 129 participants, and amongst them were a number from the Nerja Swimming Club. The participants were divided into various categories based upon age and sex and a great time was had by one and all.
