Restaurant 34 on calle Carabeo is closed until December 21st 2010. The restaurant is planning special meals for both Christmas and New Year.
A-7075 near Almogía closed due to rockslide
The A-7075 connecting Málaga and Almogía is currently closed in both directions at km 14.5 due to rockslides in the area. The alternative route is via the MA-3402.
N-340 Torrox-Nerja
The section of the old N-340 between Torrox and Nerja will remain closed until Monday January 11th due to a rockslide near Calaceite beach. Work is being carried out to stabilise the cliff face.
Sierra Nevada ski resort closed
Strong winds have once again prevented the Sierra Nevada ski resort from opening with the conditions considered too dangerous. The resort has been closed for six out of the last eight days. An improvement in weather conditions is expected as from January 1st.

The Sierra Nevada ski station is once again closed and will remain closed all day due to 100 kph winds in the area.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort remains closed for a fourth consecutive day as winds of up to 130 kph batter the area. When the storm passes, the recent snowfalls mean that around 17 kilometres of pistes should be open and skiable.
