The Hotel Villa Flamenca has decided to close for three months in view of the upcoming building works in calle Andalucía. Other businesses in the area have also decided to follow suit.

The small clothes shop, Vertida, in calle Granada, has packed it in and the premises are now up for rental if anyone is interested.

La Giaconda in calle Dr Fleming (between calle Málaga and avenida Castilla Perez), which has both an ice cream parlour and a restaurant, has not opened so far this year so one can only assume they have decided to call it a day.
