Unhappy passengers

Passengers on the 12:35 Ryanair flight from Málaga to Barcelona have been complaining about being kept in a hot plane for two hours with no air conditioning after a fault was discovered on the aircraft.

Beach monitoring services now in place in Vélez-Málaga

The beach monitoring services, some twenty-five lifeguards, nurses and other staff, are now operational on the beaches of Vélez-Málaga, one month later than normal. The PP government has, quite naturally, blamed the previous administration for the delay.

New delay to Torrox theatre

The new Torrox theatre in La Rabatilla, behind the IES IES Jorge Guillén, will not now be finished by the end of March as previously planned after the last approved extension to the project.

Reform of Anti-Tobacco Law delayed

The Minister of Health, Trinidad Jiménez, has announced that although the Anti-Tobacco Law will be reformed this year to prohibit smoking in all enclosed public places, it is unlikely to occur until the second half of 2010.
