The renovation and improvement of the promenade in Torre del Mar, originally scheduled to start before the summer, will not now begin until late September or maybe even October.
The renovation contract, budgeted at €2,328,695, was awarded to a joint venture company set up by the companies Ávila and Granados-Etosa and the completion period for the works has been set at twelve months.
The project includes a wide range of repairs, renovation and improvements including bicycle lanes and a new irrigation system using recycled water.
The promenade was built in 1984.
