Strike called in Jerez
Unions in Jerez have called a strike for August 9th in protest at Council plans to lay off 300 workers at the end of the ERE consultaion period on August 19th.

After holding further meetings, municipal workers in Jerez de la Frontera have decided to continue their protests against the lay-offs announced by the Council on Friday.
Protest in Antequera
Around 200 people marched through the streets of Antequera yesterday in protest against the ERE (Expediente de Regulación de Empleo) submitted by the company Antal Textil, a measure whic affects 49 workers at the plant.
