Tickets now available for ‘Senior Day’
Tickets for the Seniors Tribute to be held on October 11th are now available and can be picked up from the Citizen Help (Atención al Ciudadano) office at the Town Hall.
Botellón
The Councillor for Youth, Charo Villasclaras, has announced that there will be an increased Local Police presence in the Parque Verano Azul to ensure that revellers observe the rules laid down for the weekly ‘botellón’.
Sunday is race day
On Sunday October 4th, the annual feria races will be held – Trofeo de Marcha Villa de Nerja Memorial Tomás Santaolalla and Carrera de la Feria de Nerja Trofeo Juan Carlos Salcedo.
Change of hours due to feria
The Banco de Andalucia certainly, and other banks probably, will have different opening hours for the week starting October 5th due to the feria celebrations. The Banco de Andalucia is open from 09:30 to 13:30 during this week.
Torrox feria
Torrox feria, in honour of San Roque and Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, starts tonight and continues until Sunday October 4th.
Calle Diputación to remain closed in the evenings until after feria
Calle Diputación is to remain closed to traffic from 19:00 to 03:00 until after the feria, namely October 13th. Traders in the area requested the extension in order to take full advantage of the current good weather and, of course, the feria.
