Frigiliana LOUA amendment to allow the construction of VPO housing
The Junta de Andalucia has given the green light to a partial amendment to the LOUA (Urban Planning Act) through the Rules of Subsidiary Planning for Frigiliana which will allow land to be made available for the building of 49 VPO (subsidised) houses. The Council expects to approve the amendment in April.
Closure of Frigiliana car park recommended
A report by the municipal technical department of Frigiliana Council recommends the immediate closure of the private underground car park at El Ingenio due to a number of deficiencies in the completion of the project.
Nursing home proposal in Frigiliana
A group of private investors has put forward a proposal to built a nursing home in the Loma de la Cruz area of Frigiliana, a project which is being looked upon favourably by the Council. The project includes a building of 2,000 square metres on a 22,000 square metre plot with places for 100 residents.

The Public Prosecutor in Málaga has issued denuncias against two promoters and a technician in Frigiliana for the illegal construction of a house, the original licence being for a garden shed and a pool.
