Project to improve rural roads in Torrox
Torrox Council is to spend €500,000 on improvements to rural roads in the municipality, a project to be carried out in several phases. The first phase will be completed during the next three weeks.
Improvements to Caleta de Maro beach
The Council is proposing to construct a viewpoint (mirador), a rubbish disposal area and a small parking area at Caleta de Maro beach.
Improvements to street lighting
The Council has approved plans to improve the street lighting in calle calles Biznaga and calle Zuloaga in the northwestern part of town and the work is expected to start ‘shortly’.
Improvements to beach access in Mijas
Mijas Council is working to improve access to various beaches along the coastline, work currently being carried out on Royal Beach. The improved access is for regular users, the disabled and for machinery.
Málaga Council to fund improvements to municipal pool in Coín
The Málaga Provincial Council, through the Department of Local Development and Roads, has agreed to finance a large part of the proposed improvements to the municipal swimming pool in Coín.
Improvements to water supply in Canillas de Aceituno
The Council in Canillas de Aceituno has awarded the contract to improve the water supply network in the Pasada de Granadillo area of the town.
Calle Córdoba improvements completed
Improvements to calle Córdoba in Rincón de la Victoria are now complete, which should please the local residents.
