One injured in fire in Tarifa

Around thirty people had to be evacuated from their homes in Tarifa in the early hours of Monday morning after fire broke out on the second floor, an electrical fault thought to be the cause of the blaze.

Youth injured in fire in bar in Estepona

A 17 year old youth was taken to the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella in the early hours of this morning after a fire at a bar in the Puerto Deportivo, Estepona. Police are investigating the cause of the fire which badly damaged the bar.

Man on horse falls down well

A 55 year old man was injured in the early hours of Sunday morning after he and his horse fell into a disused well, about three metres deep, at the side of the A-8005 in La Rinconada, Sevilla.

Woman hit by falling cactus branch

An elderly tourist was slightly injured yesterday morning after being struck by a falling branch from a large cactus as she walked along avenida Mediterraneo. Local residents and merchants helped her to get out from under the branch and she was later treated by an ambulance crew. It is thought that strong winds dislodged the branch.
