A bit cool out of the sun due to a slight cool breeze but lovely in the sun and there were quite a few people milling around town. Albi, Kronox and Mediterraneo on the Balcón de Europa were quite full, although they tend to do pretty well at any time.
A nice surprise
Sometimes a title gives you no idea of what to expect, as in this case. What Lies Beneath 7. Definitely worth a look, though.

Out and about December 30th…
Sunday lunchtime was once again quite busy down on Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos near Torrecilla beach, all the restaurants doing a pretty good trade which is nice to see.

After a mostly glorious sunny day, an icy cold sea mist engulfed the town late in the afternoon. Surprisingly few local shops took advantage of the opportunity to open on the Sunday before Christmas this year. Probably just as well, as it turned out, as there were very few potential shoppers wandering the streets.

It is now Christmas music on the Balcón de Europa. Quite a few people about on Sunday but a lot of empty bars at the moment. The lull before the storm? Some owners are saying they have never known it so quiet.
