The Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism has awarded ‘Q for Quality’ status on the beaches of Ferrara and El Morche in Torrox.
Seven ‘Q’ for Quality flags for Nerja
A total of seven ‘Q’ for Quality flags, issued by the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism (ICTE) are fluttering in the breeze in Nerja.

The Town Hall has received the three ‘Q’ for Quality flags for this year, these corresponding to Burriana and Torrecilla beaches, as usual, and for the first time, El Chucho beach.
Torrecilla beach retains ‘Q for Quality’ status
Torrecilla beach has once again been awarded ‘Q for Quality’ status by the Instituto de Calidad Turística Española. The award is given for a two year period. Other recipients in Nerja include Burriana beach and the Tourist Office.

During the latest FITUR tourism exhibition, Nerja received its two ‘Q’ for Tourism Quality awards, one for Burriana beach and the other for the new Tourist Office. The ‘Q for Quality’ award is an annual affair decided by the Calidad Turística Española department of the Ministry of Tourism.
