A total of seven ‘Q’ for Quality flags, issued by the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism (ICTE) are fluttering in the breeze in Nerja.
The ‘Q’ for Quality flag recognises improvements in services provided to citizens which add value to tourism in Spain. Three beaches in Nerja have been awarded the flags: Torrecilla, Burriana and El Chucho.
In addition, the Nerja Tourist Office, the Toboso apartments, Marina Turquesa complex and the Parador Hotel have also been awarded the flags.
Nerja and Marbella, both with seven flags, are the top locations in Málaga province for ‘Q’ for Quality awards.
