There were a total of 223 deaths on the roads of Spain during the summer months of July and August, the lowest figure since 1960 when such statistics were first collected.

A total of ten people have so far lost their lives on the roads in Spain during the ‘puente’ weekend, seven of these deaths occurring in the region of Andalucia.
