Storms damage strawberry crops in Huelva

The weekend storms and high winds have caused damage to the strawberry and raspberry greenhouses in Huelva, some of the structures being blown down to expose the crops. The damage will be assessed during the next few days but initial estimates put the cost at around €500,000.

Council set to request funds to repair storm damage

The Council is still assessing the damage caused by the storms at the weekend, particularly on Sunday morning, but expects to be able to propose (and obviously pass) a motion later this week requesting funds from the Central Government and the Junta de Andalucia.
