The XX Dia Del Pedal in Nerja, part of the Andalucía Day celebrations, attracted a record number of participants, a total of 1,320.
It was a glorious day for the event, although there was a heavy downpour later on. There were 600 prizes or gifts handed out, including six brand new bicycles, all donated by local enterprises. The prize for the oldest participant went to 83 year old Mariano Rodríguez.
