A 34 year old Bolivian man died on Sunday in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid after being stabbed by his partner.
A discussion turned nasty as the women used a knife to resolve the dispute, stabbing her partner whilst her own three young children and several others looked on. The man was taken to hospital but later died from his wounds.
The couple were in Spain illegally.
So far this year, 44 women have died at the hands of their partners, 19 of them foreigners.
