The market traders have welcomed the offer of mediation from the mayor of Vélez-Málaga, María Salomé Arroyo, in their long-running dispute with the Nerja Council, and are now hoping that a meeting can be arranged with all concerned to discuss the Carabeo /Los Huertos and Parque Verano Azul options for siting the market.
