The Association of Market Traders (AVAM) intends to continue its protests outside the Town Hall and on the streets of Nerja.
The traders are unhappy that no dialogue has been offered regarding their proposal to use the Parque Verano Azul as a site for the weekly market. The traders made the proposal to the Town Hall around one month ago, but have so far had no reply.
The dispute concerning the proposed siting of the weekly market in Almijara has now been going on for five months.
