Thieves haves stolen about €7,000 worth of sports equipment from the Enrique López Cuenca Sports Stadium, including the entire kit belonging to Recreativo de Nerja football club.
Footballs, kit, training materials, twenty footballs, the thieves took the lot. The robbery took place at some time during the weekend.
Luckily the team has two sets of strip, operating a ‘one at the stadium, one in the wash’ system, so they can at least continue to play.
