The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé Rivas, has announced that contracts for 11 minor works to be carried out under the Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local – State Fund for Local Investment – have been awarded to local companies.
The projects have a value of less than €50,000 each and have been awarded as follows:
- Improvements to the Municipal Swimming Pool – Climapool
- Drainage – Gaspar Claros
- Improvements to drainage outlet at Burriana – Gaspar Claros
- Improved access to Colegio Público Nueva Nerja – Not yet awarded
- Improvements to fencing and the offices at the Municipal Sports Centre – Miguel Navas García
- Improvements to street lighting in calle Julio Romero – Raya SL
- Improvements to lighting at the football field – Raya SL
- Construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing – Transportes Antelo
- Construction of changing rooms at the Municipal Sports Centre – Francisca Navas Paloma
- Installation of petanca courts in Parque Verano Azul – Francisca Navas Paloma
- Improvements to electrical system and construction of changing facilities at the municipal car park – José Daniel and Ramos Platero
All the projects have a completion period of between one and three months.
