AEN critical of PGOU delay in Nerja

The Asociación de Empresarios de Nerja (AEN) is asking the Council to speed up approval of the local PGOU, a document they view as vital to the future development of the town.

The head of the AEN, Gabriel Broncano, criticised the delays in approving the document. He stated that while it was true that there had been many difficulties relating to new regulations introduced by the Junta de Andalucía, it was now over a year since the document was written and it has still not been approved.

Broncano added that the PGOU would help with the economic situation and also unlock several important projects, such as the new promenade for El Playazo beach and several housing projects.
