Antonio Armijo Laín, father of the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo Navas, has died at the age of 88 years.
Antonio Armijo Laín was a councilor in the 1960’s and 70’s and served during the local governments of Antonio Millón and Rafael Sánchez de las Matas.
Thousands of people turned out yesterday to say their final farewells as he made his way to his final resting place, the cemetery of San Miguel.
