Police in France have arrested ETA terrorist Mikel Barrios Santamaría who fled from Spain six months ago after an operation against the ‘kale borroka’ in Navarre.
In a joint operation, Mikel Barrios Santamaría was detained in the town of Saint-Palais in the French Basque region by French police officers. Barrios was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by judge Fernando Grande-Marlaska.
