A total of 58 people were injured early this morning following the collision of two local trains in Madrid. None of the injuries were serious.
The two local trains collided at 07:30 this morning between the stations of Fanjul and Aluche. Two field hospitals were set up in Avenida de los Poblados. Aluche, to help the injured, eight of whom were subsequently transferred to hospital. None of the injuries are thought to be serious.
