Police are investigating a series of arson attacks carried out in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Carabeo area of town.
Between 04:00 and 06:00 on Saturday morning, a dozen rubbish containers were set on fire and one car was damaged. The first incident happened in Prolongación de Carabeo, with seven containers being set on fire.
As firemen worked to extinguish the fires, reports came in of two more incidents in the area, one in calle San Juan and the other at the los Huertos de Carabeo feria ground.
The Guardia Civil is carrying out an investigation to try and ascertain the identities of the perpetrators.
