The Councillor for Parks and Gardens, Jonathan Méndez, has announced that improvement works to Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos will soon be completed, the replacement of the lighting being the final step.
The project has involved the moving of all architectural barriers, the construction of an access ramp, the removal of iron railings which, being close to the sea, tended to rust and the building of a brick wall instead of the railings.
The lighting in the square is to be replaced and workmen are currently busy painting the railings on the walkway.
