Police raids on greenhouses in Almeria have resulted in the detention of 71 people in connection with prostitution.
Cortijos in the greenhouse areas of Poniente are widely used by illegal immigrants for the purpose of prostitution, with up to 500 women thought to be involved in the trade.
A total of 71 prostitutes and pimps were rounded up during the raids, most of them without papers.
