Over fifty companies have put in bids for the SUP 4 (Fuente del Badén) development project, eight of whom have been asked to justify their proposals due to the low price being offered.
Once the relevant companies have complied with the request, the Council can proceed further with the project which has an initial budget of €3.8 million excluding IVA.
The area in question, known as SUP 4, covers an area of 170,640 square metres. There is a buildable area of 8,773 square metres for the construction of 425 houses and a hotel.
The Council also has a number of municipal plots, 17,736 square metres, for various sports, community and educational facilities as well as 17,058 square metres for ‘green’ areas.
