A Málaga pediatrician sentenced to two years in jail for child pornography will return to employment within the Andalucian Health Service although he will not be permitted to work with children.
The doctor pleaded guilty to the charges of possessing and distributing images of children, naked and having sex, via the internet and therefore avoided having to actually go to prison.
A judge ruled that the doctor was not disqualified from practicing his profession and therefore the Health Service has to find him a job where he does not come into contact with children.
