A serious fire began at noon today at the old Palacio de Magia (Magic Palace) in Torremolinos, the cause of which is not yet known.
The Magic Palace, located near the Aquapark, is owned by two Dutch businessmen under a 50 year concession from the Council and cost €8 million.
However, it closed down in March 2007 having only been open a few months and has remained closed ever since, Torremolinos Council not showing any interest in reclaiming the site.
